USACE turns over key to new Kelley Barracks hotel
In a courtesy key turnover ceremony July 7, 2010, Terry Bautista, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Europe District Engineering and Construction branch chief, presents a ceremonial key plaque to Col. Richard Pastore, U.S. Army Garrison Stuttgart commander, to the new Panzer Army Lodge on Kelley Barracks, Germany. The 218-room lodge includes 65 rooms specifically designated for PCSing families. Each suite-style room is complete with kitchenettes and separate living areas. The seven-story lodge has seven ADA-compliant rooms, three guest laundry rooms, bulk storage area, a multi-purpose fitness room, breakfast room and a modern lobby and reception area to greet travelers. Construction continues on new Army hotel in Stuttgart
Construction continues on the 218-room Panzer Army Lodge on Kelley Barracks in Stuttgart, Germany. In addition to the rooms designed specifically for families that have kitchenettes, another 65 rooms are designated for PCSing families complete with living rooms and an additional bedroom. There are seven ADA-compliant rooms for those with disabilities, three guest laundry rooms, bulk storage area, a multi-purpose fitness room, a breakfast room and a modern lobby and reception area to greet travelers.
